Using the Internet can be more than a hobby. You can make money with it if you learn some techniques. Best of all you can do it at home.
Now, I will initiate a series of articles describing how to make money from home using the Internet.
Several months ago I began to look for books and articles to learn how to make money online. The problem was that I found many web sites dedicated only to promoting their products and they did not teach anything. Instead, they showed all that you could gain by doing what the authors have done. But how do you believe in them?.
Well, after reading a lot and subscribing to almost all of the “guru” lists on the internet I have learned a lot and I'd like to share my knowledge with those interested in learning how to do business with the internet.
The first thing you should know is that there are different ways to make money online. Some you can earn more money than others, some require more work and dedication; some require that you know sales and marketing, others need that you have a blog or web site, etc.
Here’s the first method for beginners:
If you don’t know how to create a website or blog, you can start with an affiliate program. The best known and recommended program is Clickbank (www.clickbank.com). In that program you can choose products (e-books) to promote among several categories. Clickbank will pay you a commission for each product you sell. Now, how do you promote the products?. There are at least 4 techniques to do that:
1.- Sending emails to your contacts to tell them about the features of the product that you are promoting and how they can buy it (Clickbank gives you a link where people can find the product presentation and buy it).
2.- Writing articles related to your product and promoting them in Articles Directories (for example: www.ezinearticles.com). In the article you must include the link that Clickbank gives you (for example in your signature).
3.- Using free classified ads (for example www.usfreeads.com).
4.- Joining forums where people are looking for information about your product.
Well, you have the first way to make money without having a blog or web site and even without spending money.

Developing a blog you can make a lot of money if you follow some techniques. Now I’ll describe how to start.
In this article I want to explain about the uses of blogs and how you can make money with them.
¿What is a blog?.
“A blog (a contraction of the term weblog) is a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. Many blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blog).
Well, with the above definition you can create a blog to make commentaries about a particular topic that you are interested in. Besides, one important characteristic of a blog is the possibility that the readers of the articles or comments can give their opinion and create a discussion group.
How can a blog help you make money?.
As explained in previous article you can sell products of clickbank to make money. I also explained four methods on how to do it. Well, in this article I will explain a fifth method that will show you more possibilities to make money:
1.- Choose a topic that you would like to comment and create a blog.
2.- Search in clickbank related products with your chosen topic. The 2 main stats to look for in clickbank are the %/sale which needs to be at least 50% but you need to
look for programs that pay 65% and above for best results. The next most important is
%refd which is the percentage of sales generated by affiliates. You’re wanting this 60+ or even 70+ with the only exception of if the product is new and affiliates aren’t yet promoting it.
3.- Write al least 3 articles a week (the more articles you write, the greater possibilities of more visitors) relating to one or more of clickbank products that you choose in the second point.
4.- Include the links from clickbank for each product at the end or in the middle of your article and recommend that the visitors use the link (where they can buy the product).
